Honey as a lip moisturizer
You probably already know that honey can be used as a facial moisturizer, and it turns out honey can also be used as a lip moisturizer.
Apply honey on the lips every night before bed. This step is to help moisturize and soften lips, while avoiding skin chapped lips.
Honey as a body scrub
Honey can also be used to scrub that works to lift dead skin cells as well as nutrients slowly and keep the skin moist.
How to make:
Mix 1 tablespoon of kaolin (a type of natural minerals which can be obtained at the store chemicals), 1 teaspoon wheat flour, a little flour cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon of honey. Then apply on face and neck, and then rub with a circular motion. Rinse with warm water.
Aside from being a scrub, you can also use honey to soak.
Mix ¼ cup full cream milk powder, ½ cup honey, and 4 drops of rose or lavender essential oil in the container. Then input the mixture into the bath tub of warm water that has been filled. Soak for about 15 minutes. Besides relaxation, soak with a mixture of honey and milk may help improve skin moisture and smoothness.
Honey Recipes for Conditioner and Hair Mask
Honey can also be useful as a conditioner and hair mask.
For those of you who want to use honey for the conditioner, mix ½ cup of honey and ¼ cup olive oil. Then apply on the hair little by little until the entire hair coat, let stand 30 minutes, wash with shampoo and rinse well.
In the meantime, if you want to use honey as a hair mask, mix ¼ cup honey, 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Apply on scalp and hair while massaging.
