Choosing Sunscreen based on Skin Type

Before you choose the type of sunscreen or sun block, consider your skin type, because it has different requirements.

For those of you who work outdoors and regular exposure to sunlight, of course, often have problems about skin health.

To protect the skin health due to frequent sun exposure, you can use a shield, such as hats or umbrellas. Another way you can do to protect your skin is to use sunscreen that can protect the skin from sun damage or ultraviolet (UV).

In choosing the sunscreen you also need to pay attention to your skin type. Use sunscreen in the form of gel for oily skin types, and shaped cream for dry and sensitive skin.

Sunscreen for White Skin
For very bright and very sensitive skin type, choose a sunscreen with an SPF value of 30.

Bright and sensitive skin, choose a sunscreen with an SPF value of 24 for the body, and SPF 30 for face. After that, try to use a lower SPF of sunscreen, e.g. 18 for the body, and 20 for the face. However, if your skin is on fire, you should choose a sunscreen with a higher SPF.

For them who have brightly-skinned (white), usually have thinner skin, and easily irritated because fewer oil glands. Therefore, you who have these skin types are advised to wear safe sun block to irritants such as containing titanium dioxide or zinc dioxide, to overcome the effects of redness caused by the use of sunscreen. Avoid sunscreens that contain avobenzone or Parsol 1789.

Sunscreen for Dark Skin
Skin that is not too bright and not too dark, chooses a sunscreen with an SPF of 18 to 20 for the first 3 days, and then can use a sunscreen with SPF smaller between 10 or 8. For those of you that dark-skinned, although skin damage from sun arose somewhat later, but you still need a sunscreen that is oil free sunscreen.
