5 Daily Habits Causing Skin Damage


Exposure to sunlight is not the only cause of damage or aging skin. Some of our daily habits, without us knowing it, make the skin damage early.
Sometimes women think that skin problems can be solved with sunscreen and moisturizer. But you should know that, identify the cause of your skin damage before seeking a solution.
A dermatologist, Dr. Dennis Gross tells some daily habits that cause skin damage.
1. Glasses and soft lens
Actually, anything that makes you squint your eyes, such as reading or working in a dimly lit room, including not update or soft lens glasses that are not appropriate, will create the fine lines around the eyes. Habit of squinting in the long term could create damage to the skin around the eyes.
2. Sauna
Saunas is good for detoxification because the steam heat forcing the toxins out of the body. But Dr Gross said the sauna should be limited, for the kids, because it has a bad effect, because demonize skin elasticity and collagen. Collagen is the essential substance that keeps skin rejuvenation.
3. Sport high impact
High impact sports such as long distance running is very good for the heart but not good for the fat stacks in the back of the body. If you like walking, then walking is better for skin than running long distances.
4. Lack of sleep
Sometimes we may need overtime and reduce sleep time. And this habit is very bad for our skin. "Lack of sleep can be a stress, including the stress of our skin also produce free radicals," said Dr. Gross. Free radical means you look older, faster.
5. Tap water
Chlorine in tap water will cause dryness and irritation of the skin especially in winter, when there is less moisture in the air for balance.
